Vigilance Organization Kashmir (VOK) has registered a case under Prevention of Corruption Act on outcome of Joint Surprise Check (JSC) Conducted into the allegations that the officers/officials of ICDS Dooru Anantnag have misappropriated huge amount under IGMSY scheme meant for welfare of pregnant and lactating ladies.During the course of JSC it has been established that  Shamima Akhtar CDPO Dooru Anantnag in the capacity as DDO ICDS Block Dooru under a well knit criminal conspiracy with other officials and private persons has fraudulently/dishonestly credited Government money from her two Government Accounts IGMSY and  ICDS Schemes of ICDS Block Dooru in her personal account to the tune of rupees 650000 besides in the accounts of Mohammed Hussain Sheikh of Badermuna Dooru, the then Statistical Assistant to the tune of Rs 1261325/-, Opinder Raina  of Jagti Town Ship Jammu, Orderly CDPO Dooru to the tune of Rs 305000 and one private person Mst. Batoola  Masoodi of Verinag District Anantnag, to the tune of Rs 309032 which in total amounts Rs 252536 and later on CDPO Shameema Akhter deposited back an amount of Rs 126300 into her Govt. Account while as an amount of Rs 12,62357 has been misappropriated thereby causing wrongfull loss to to State exchequer to the tune of RS 1262357 and corresponding wrongful gain to accuses persons.Accordingly a Case FIR No. 32/2017 section 5(1) (c),(d)  of   J&K P.C. Act, Svt; 2006 read with section 5 (2) of   JK P.C. Act Svt; 2006 in Police Station Vigilance Organization Kashmir was registered against accused persons namely Mst. Shamima Akhter W/o Nazir Ahmad Shah R/o Mumin-abad Anantnag, CDPO Doru Anantnag,  Mohammed Hussain Sheikh S/o Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh R/o Badermuna Dooru, the then Statistical Assistant,  Shri Opinder Raina  S/o  Mohan-lal Raina   R/o Flat No. 18 Block 35 Lane 7 Jaqti Town Ship Jammu,Orderly CDPO Dooru Anantnag by abusing their official positions alongwith Mst. Batoola  Masoodi D/o Ghulam Ahamd Masoodi  R/o Verinag District Anantnag. further investigation was taken up. (CNS)
