Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh and Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) organized “Management Day” in ICSSR Complex, PU, Chandigarh. The theme of the day was “Education Reforms: Challenges & Opportunities”. Sh Madan Mohan Mittal, Technical Education Minister, Punjab was the Chief Guest whereas Sh A R Talwar, Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Punjab was the Guest of Honour. Dr Anshu Kataria, Past President, CMA and Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the event. Sh A K Gandhi, President, CMA welcomed the audience.Mittal speaking on the occasion said that in Punjab, the Education Reforms are taking place at a very fast pace. Punjab has become an Education Hub. He further said that 10-15 years back, the students of Punjab had to move to South India for their studies. But now the students of not only India but the students from South East Asia, Africa and many more countries are also studying in Colleges of Punjab.Dr Anshu Kataria while interacting gave the details of 4 A’s of Education Industry- Approval, Admission, Administration and Accreditation. He also throw light on various Challenges and Opportunities in 4 A’s. He also said that the youth has to become powerful now and Educational Institutions can play a major role in this.

A R Talwar said that in Punjab, Education is very liberal. He further said that with the opening of new Educational Institutions, students are getting more options. This increase in supply of Colleges has directly and indirectly forced the Institutes to have quality education.Dr Anshu Kataria further said that 95% Institutions in Punjab are Private. The manpower needed in corporate world comes from these Institutions who ultimately contribute in the growth of Punjab as well as India.Sh Modan Mohan Mittal also said that various Universities and Colleges of Punjab have created an environment for education after a long hardwork done by the young Entrepreneurs of Punjab. He assured that Punjab Government will provide every possible help to these Institutions to move forward.Also present were Sh J S Nayyar, Secretary General, CMA; Sh Ashok Verma, Treasurer, CMA; Brig. Sahni, CMA Member; Prof A P Jain, Prof B S Sidhu & Ms Varinder Kaur (Aryans); Mr Gurpreet Singh, Universal Group; Mr Sandeep Singh, Desh Bhagat University etc.
