Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Ajay Nanda conducted tour of district Reasi and kick started the blacktopping of 17 km Reasi-Katra road.The Minister was accompanied Executive Engineer Hem Raj Langeh, AEs, JEs and prominent people of Reasi district.On the occasion, the Minister said that apart from local transportation, Reasi-Katra road is also main link road for connecting Sulla Park, Siard Baba, Shiv Khori and other tourist shrines in the district and thus its upkeep gives boost to the tourist flow in the district.Referring to other road works under execution in various schemes, the Minister further said that instructions have been passed to pacify the execution of all such road projects which have already been sanctioned by the government so far.The Minister further said that equitable blacktopping work has been intensified by the government in every part of the state equally. He said the government has also concentrated on improving power scenario, water supply and building infra in the state.The Minister passed instructions to the Works department to ensure the up-gradation and blacktopping of all other roads in Katra, Reasi, Pouni and Bhomag so that local people do not face any problems.
