Eleven structures including six residential houses, four cowsheds and a fruit godown, were gutted in a massive blaze in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.Reports said that fire broke out in Haril Mawar area of the district around 11 am.Fire tenders with the help of locals brought the fire under control.However, six residential houses, four cowsheds and a large fruit godown containing around twenty-five thousands apple boxes were gutted in the blaze.An official said that short-circuit was likely to have caused the fire.
