Family members of senior separatist leader Abdul Samad Inqalabi Tuesday alleged that police is not presenting him in the court of law for hearing. They said Inqalabi is suffering from many ailments and is being deprived of medical assistance at Kathua Jail. Abdul Samad Inqalabi, according to family members was arrested by Army in July this year from Tral town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. “Inqalabi was picked up by Army during a raid when he was present in the house of Burhan Wani. He was later handed over to police and subsequently booked and sent to Srinagar Central Jail,” Muhammad Yousuf, his brother told news agency CNS.He said, Abdul Samad Inqalabi has been languishing in Kathua Jail from past three months. “Today, police was supposed to present him before Sessions Judge Kupwara, but they didn’t present him. His case has been listed for next hearing on November 20 and we appeal authorities to present him before the court.” (CNS)
