As an endeavour to reach out to people at their doorsteps, the District Development Commissioner Ravinder Kumar today conducted a Public grievances redress camp here at remote Parand village of Moungri Tehsil. A large number of people hailing from village Parand and its adjacent areas put forth problems related to paucity of drinking water, dilapidated condition of road, poor Power supply, scarcity of ration, lack of staff in schools.They also demanded  installation of Electric transformer  at Chaiman  Mata , construction of  foot bridge from  Baltan to Brajal  over river Pinther,  approval of proposed road connectivity to Lord Shiv Parvati Cave Moungri to Hadogh via Mata Chaiman Devi  of village Parand to Khalad, construction of  road from Galiote to Nalli Nikha via Lander Bhamag region, construction of  direct road from Udhampur Jakhani to Kainth Gali via Narore, Macadamization of Udhampur to Galiote and Udhampur to Khor gali road, Electrification of Village Parand and adjoining areas, construction of foot bridge over river pinther from Kharala to Chousar and Opening of ration depot at Khadandra valley.

Responding to the demands, the DDC asked the concerned officers to work in close coordination with public and resolve their problems in stipulated time frame.  He instructed the officers to organize joint mass awareness camps about various government schemes, so that the general public can avail maximum benefits of these schemes.The DDC highlighted the central sponsored schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, social security and other welfare schemes. He appealed the public to come forward and take benefit of these schemes. He directed officers to provide services to people at their doorsteps by holding regular public service delivery camps.The camp was attended by Chief Horticulture Officer, DPO, Sandeep Seointra, AD FCS&CA, Tehsildar Moungri, ARTO, DFO Territorial, Jugal Gupta, DFO SF, Dr. Rajan Singh, CDPO Panchari Dy SP Shakeel Bhat, and other district and tehsils officers.Earlier, District Administration organized a Bike rally to promote Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme. The rally started from DC Office    and culminated at Khor Gali.
