In order to review the works Action plan of approved Model Villages of Kunun-Poshpora,Keran,Sarkuli ,the DDC Kupwara today convened a meeting of officers and Engineers of the district administration to review the works Action plan under BADP/Convergence mood and other modalities for carrying out the execution works and other related issues during the meeting.The Joint Director Planning and Assistant Commissioner,Development officers and engineers of Irrigation, FC,Agriculture, Horticulture, Dte.of Soil Conservation and Flood control,R&B, B,PHE,RDD,Planning ,Education,Fishries ,Animal and Sheep Husbandary,PDD briefed the chair about the progress of the works to be carried out and Works Action Plan within the Model village projects and further instructions were recorded to carry out the further developmental activities in these proposed villages of Kunun,Poshpora,Hanjipora,Sarkoli and Keran areas of Kupwara,Lolab and Karnah constituencies of the district Kupwara.The DDC impressed upon the executing and implementing agencies to involve the public representatives for implement the scheme on the guidelines of the GOI under works Action plan under approved BADP-2017-18 for this purpose Rs.10 Crs stands released for the carrying out the works under the DPRs submitted by the concerned executing agencies within the proposed Model Village Projects the convergence plan was also discussed during the course of meeting.The executing agencies were asked to start the works as per the Works Action Plan through completing all formalities and tendering process should be given out that Model Villages under approval of GOI the Sarkoli,Keran and KununPoshpora Model Villages have been commenced through its laying of foundation stone at these habitations as accordance with the submission of detailed Project Report(DPRs) by the concerned authorities and funds to the tune of Rs.204 Crs have been demanded so far Rs 10 Crs. have been release as first instalment.
