Governor Acharya Devvrat expressed the need to preserve our rich tradition and culture for the future generations. He said that in this materialistic world, Vedic culture could only give us stability as the Vedas show us the right path to live, where karma was the basic principle of life.He was speaking as a chief guest during a function organized by Shri Geeta Ashram Smiti at Ghan- ki -Ser in Solan district, today.The Governor said that the teachings of Sri Krishna were more relevant today. He expressed his happiness that, there would be a contemplation of Shri Krishna's idealistic teachings in the Shri Radha-Krishna temple at Ghan- ki-Ser.Earlier, he laid foundation stone of Shri Geeta Ashram Parisar and Shri Radha Krishan Mandir at Ghan- ki -Ser.Geeta Manishi Shri Gyananad ji has also blessed on the occasion.President, Shri Geeta Ashram Smiti and Geeta Adarsh Vidyalaya, Solan Shri Hemraj Goel said that, many more facilities would be provided have to the people especially senior citizens.A cultural programme was also performed by the school children on the occasion.
