Renowned Punjabi Singer Preet Harpal and Rising Star winner Bannet Dosanjh today enthralled the audience on the inaugural ceremony of 3 days Aryans Techno-Cultural Fest held at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura,near Chandigarh. Over 5000 students of around 25 Colleges falling under Fatehgarh Zone of Punjabi University, Patiala participated in various cultural activities of Youth Festival. Around 25 companies displayed their technical projects in the fest.Prof. B.S Ghuman, Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala was the Chief Guest & inaugurated the fest by lighting the lamp. Dr. Yograj, Director, Academics, Staff College, Punjabi University & Dr. Gursewak Lambi, Director, Youth Welfare Department, Punjabi University, Patiala were the Guests of Honour while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.First Day of youth festival observed various Cultural and Non Cultural activities including Giddha, Classical Dance, Folk Song, Folk Instruments, Group Shabad, Classical Vocal, Gazals, Quiz, Clay Modeling, Rangoli, Painting etc. Renowned Comedian, Amritpal Chotu also enthralled the audience.

B.S Ghuman while appreciating the efforts made by Aryans in hosting the youth fest for the second time at its campus. While speaking he said, “I personally know Dr. Anshu Kataria from last 21 years when he was my student and I have seen his struggle made from the scratch to hatch which he has achieved in 2 decades.Dr.  Anshu Kataria while speaking on the occasion thanked Punjabi University, Patiala for giving this youth festival for consecutive 2 years. He further said that Aryans would do it's best to make the fest successful. Dr.  Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group; Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director Administration; Dr. Raman Rani Gupta, Director, Academics; Ms Sukhaman Bath, Registrar etc were also present on the occasion. Patel memorial college, Rajpura; Goswami Ganesh Datta; Mata Gujri; Maghi memorial; Govt college, Derabassi; Aryans Degree College, Rajpura; Aryans College of Education, Rajpura Dasmesh khalsa college; Bibi sharn; Baba Zoravar and fateh; CGC landran; Jawahar lal Nehru, etc colleges participated in the first day of fest.
