Prabhat Pheries Reception Committee Katra today took out its first Prabhat Pherry, which is part of Navratra Festival being organized at Katra.The Prabhat Pherry was flagged off by Shiv Kumar Sharma Joint Secretary J&K State Sport Council in presence of SDPO Ashok Kumar and Babu Ram Dubey former Chairman of Hotel and Restaurant Association of Katra.Prabhat Pherry started from Bus stand Katra passing through Ban Ganga Road reached at Darshani Deodi and then came back via main bazaar to Bus Stand Katra, culmination point.The procession was comprised of artists of Song and Drama Divison, led by Durga Prakash, Senior citizens, local people and a large number of Maa Vaishno Devi devotees.Enroute Darshani Deodi, the procession was welcomed by Inspector Manoj Kumar along with CRPF personnel.Raj Kumar Padha Chairman of Prabhat Pherries Reception Committee thanked all the people who participated in the Prabhat Pherry especially CRPF personnels for their gesture and appealed all the sections of society to join in Prabhat Pherries to get the blessing of Maa Vaishno Devi.It is pertinent to mention here that Prabhat Pherries will be organized till 29th of September on daily basis at 5:30 amfrom Bus Stand Katra.
