Self defence training was inaugrated at Girls Higher secondary School Salkoote Kupwara.The Programme will be conducted by RAMSA Wing of CEO Office Kupwara.The main aim of the programme is to build self confidence among Girls,To enable them to face any eventuality at any time, To enable them to ptotect themselves against any evil thrill. To train girls in every secondary and higher secondary school. Professional instructors will visit every school for 4 days each.All the participant's of the programme through light on the self defence programme ,as they mentioned that it has become need of an hour in present era to train the girls in self defence activities. The inaugural ceremony of the self defence programme was attended by Worthy Deputy Commissioner Khalid Jahngir , Principal BHSS Kupwara Mohammad Iqbal wani , President Teachers Fourm Mohammad Amin Khan , Principal Girls Higher secondary School Kupwara ,Mohammad Shafi Wani.In the inaugral speech of the programme Principal Girls Higher secondary warmly wlcomed DDC kupwara For attending the self defence event at Girls higher secondary scool and put fourth some of the main issues/problems faced by the instution and welcomed DDC Kupwara Khalid Jahangir to proceed the programme with your worthy words. DDC Kupwara Khalid Jahangir gave an inspirational speech in front of all the girls who were present there to witness the self defence programme, DDC Kupwara also shred some of his personal experiences during Secondary school days and all the fun and tough time he went through and advised the girls to be best at your studied and at self defence as well. Khalid jahangir promised all the girls that i will gift all the girls who will lead in the annual exams and i Will keenly look into your achievements at highest levels. DDC Kupwara also allotted 50 Thousand Rupees For Girls higher secondary Library. Due to the busy schedule DDC Kupwara left back for some more important meetings and programmes.
