Governor Acharya Devvrat said the Vedas spread the message of universal brotherhood, which was further introduced to the entire world by Swami Vivekananda. He said Vivekananda was a major force in the revival of Hinduism and everyone should follow his vision.He was addressing during a function organised by the Shimla unit of Vivekananda Kendra Kanya Kumari on World Brotherhood Day, here today.The Governor said that today there were differences amongst the people in the name of religion worldwide and it had also become a main reason for conflict. However, the Indian religions always gave the message of love, brotherhood and peace and it was high time to realize our high traditions and vision to take the nation further on the path of development and prosperity.He distributed the prizes to the winners of various competitions organized on this occasion.Acting Chief Justice of HP High Court Justice Sanjay Karol, Justice Vivek Singh Thakur and other prominent persons were also present on the occasion among others.
