Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Sham Lal Choudhary today urged the people to take benefit of the state and centrally sponsored schemes being implemented by various departments for the welfare and uplift of the common masses. The Minister was speaking at a public grievance redress camp in Suchetgarh, where he listened to the problems of the villagers. The people hailing from Dablehar, Badyal Brahmana, Bidipur Jattan, Chakrohi, Shera Chak, Biaspur Bangla, Mokhey and other adjoining villages apprised the Minister about the problems being faced by them related to power supply, water supply, road connectivity, healthcare and sanitation. The deputation of Dablehar demanded upgradation of transformers, replacement of electric poles and cables.Responding to the demands, the Minister said the government has taken various path-breaking initiatives for augmenting power supply in the border areas. The government is committed to work for the uplift of the downtrodden sections of the society and is launching one scheme after the other to realise this objective, he added. He further asked the people to vehemently put forth their demands before the concerned officers for on the spot redress of the same.
