Prof. A. H. Munshi, Sabbatical Visiting Professor, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.Prof. Munshi, who has earlier served as Professor of Botany at University of Kashmir, apprised Governor about the various research projects being carried out under his supervision and shared his views about developing employment opportunities through introduction of job oriented courses which could help in generating sustainable earnings for the educated youth.Appreciating Prof. Munshi’s sustained endeavours in the scientific research arena Governor urged him to vigorously follow up the establishment in Kashmir of a National Herbal Park and a Natural Resources Research Institute, the details of which Prof. Munshi had earlier discussed with him. Governor observed that he would speak to the Vice Chancellor in regard to both these projects, for being speedily pursued.
