DDC Baramulla reviews pace of ongoing schemes

District Development Commissioner Baramulla today chaired a meeting here to review the pace and position of various ongoing centrally sponsored and flagship programmes.The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, SE's, Assistant Commissioner Revenue,  Chief Medical Officer, Chief Education  Officer, Engineers from line departments and various other district and sectoral officers.On the occasion, the DDC took a comprehensive review of physical and financial achievements of various centrally sponsored schemes during the current financial year through a power point presentation. It was informed that under MNREGA, 86375 job cards have been distributed upto June 2017 among which 1437510 man-days have been generated wherein 6641 works were taken up and 3886 works have been completed.Threadbare discussion was also held to review the implementation of other centrally sponsored schemes which includes NRLM, PMGSY, NRHM, PMAY, SBM, NFBS etc.Speaking on the occasion, the DDC emphasized upon the officers to ramp upon the process of developmental work so that benefits of the schemes are provided to the people at an earliest.  He sought the coordination among various departments so that all the taken up tasks are completed within stipulated time period.
