The District Development Commissioner Ganderbal today convened a meeting to review the functioning of Revenue Department.The Deputy Commissioner held detailed review of the progress made under ongoing entry of Jamabandi/Girdawari and directed the revenue staff to work on war foot basis for the completion of the same. He directed Tehsildar/Naib Tehsildar to ensure proper procedural steps being taken for the inspection/writings/partal of the Revenue records. He also called for proper check of Harvest inspection of Girdawari entries and directed Tehsildars to submit regular reports on harvest inspection report.DDC stressed on fresh targets for eviction on kah charai and state land. He impressed upon the officers to keep strict check on encroachment and land conversion cases.
The DDC further stressed for taking immediate action in case of any conversion of land. He passed instructions for renovation of extract of aks Masavi & Latha to save the original record before the next Girdawari schedule. He deliberated upon 29 points agenda framed for the Revenue meeting and objectively reviewed them one by one, like updation of Records/ Girdawari, Jamabandi, Status/ ROR preparation etc.DDC Ganderbal directed all the Tehsildars to open the facility of single window in their respective Tehsils to facilitate people which will save their valuable time and money.ADC Ganderbal, ACR Ganderbal, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, and concerned officers were present in the meeting.
