DDC Shopian reviews implementation of DDB decisions

The District Development Commissioner Shopian today took a thorough review of the implementation of the decisions taken in the previous District Development Board meeting.The meeting also took a comprehensive review of the progress made in various developmental projects.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Executive Engineers of JKPCC, PHE, besides district and Sectoral officers.Regarding the establishment of Women’s Degree College at District Shopian and establishment of Degree College at Zainapora and Keller, the meeting was informed that the proposal for the same has been submitted to the Higher Education Department.While reviewing the health scenario in the district,  the DDC directed the CMO Shopian to get the work completed within next 15 days. With regard to Blood bank at CHC Zainapora,  the meeting was informed that the machinery for blood bank is ready and Hotline will be completed as an when the funds may get  arranged.With regard to the establishment of canteen in the Mini secretariat complex, it was decided that the canteen would be established on a public private partnership (PPP) basis. DDC directed Chief Planning Officer to draft a proposal so that the same may approved by the Chairman District Development.On the occasion, the DDC Shopian directed the officers to put in their best for realizing the goals and targets envisaged in annual plan so as to ensure maximum benefits to the people.
