The District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla today chaired a review meeting to seek the progress on upgradation and construction work for Health Department and the other developmental works undertaken by the R&B department in the district.Threadbare discussions were also held with the officials of health department, and engineers of R&B and JKPCC regarding the issues related to physical and financial achievements.The DDC took stock of various works of Health and R&B Departments. DDC was also provided latest status of the various ongoing projects undertaken by the departments under various schemes.DDC impressed upon the officers to maintain quality material in the macadamization of the roads and in the construction of bridges and buildings. He assured the department that all the necessary support from district administration for resolving the bottlenecks which are hindering in execution of projects.The DDC directed the officers to closely monitor the pace of developmental works in their respective domains for their time bound completion and their subsequent benefits at the grass root level. He impressed upon the officers to work in coordination for timely completion of all pending works in the district.The meeting was attended by SE R&B, CPO Ganderbal, CMO Ganderbal, Medical Superintendent, BMO’s, and Engineers from R&B Department and officials from JKPCC.
