The District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar, today convened a meeting to review progress achieved under the health sector in the district.The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, CMO Pulwama, Medical Superintendent, Principal G.N.M School Pulwama, Exen R&B and Housing Board and other concerned.Threadbare discussions were held on achievements and progress of works under the health sector. The DDC were briefed in detail about the status of various ongoing projects under the sector.He was informed about the facilities being provided to patients at various health institutes of the district. He was also apprised about the measures like Infection Control, Start of advanced Oncology /Pharmacology /Laparoscopic surgeries, Video endoscope and Colonoscopy facility, Baby Resuscitation Bays, CCTV Surveillance, Color Coded Bed Sheets, Code Yellow & Code Blue, Color Coded IPD Tickets, Cashless Services, Public Grievance & Redressal System, Biomedical Waste Management as per 2016 Guidelines, Biometric Attendance System, CR/Digital X-Ray System (PPP), Processing Biochemistry Lab (PPP), Blood Bank, Establishment of Hi-Tech Lab, Computerization of Records and e-paper services, Up gradation of Dental Unit and Ophthalmology Services. While reviewing the construction of Sub-Health Centres and Primary Health Centres, the DDC asked the concerned to provide better health care facilities to the people.The officers were asked to work with added zeal and dedication and in close coordination for the development of the health sector in district.
