District Development Commissioner Sheetal Nanda today chaired a meeting of District Task Force to review implementation of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tilak Raj Sharma along with Additional Superintendent of police, Chief Education Officer, District Social Welfare Officer and officials of other departments.Speaking on the occasion, the DDC exhorted upon the task force to work in an utmost efficient and dedicated manner to effectively implement this vigorous campaign in the district. She directed the concerned to take action against any illegal ultrasound clinics running in the district to check the declining sex ratio.The ADC was asked to conduct regular inspections of ultrasound clinics in the district. Besides, CEO was directed to provide lists of school dropout girls besides organizing educational tours for school girls.
