Nazir Ahmad Yattoo, Vice Chairman J&K Cements Ltd. called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.Sh. Yattoo informed the Governor about the initiatives being taken for making J&K Cements a profitable enterprise and for generating employment to qualified youth.Governor advised Sh. Yatoo to ensure that the Coy closely adheres to the prescribed quality of the product, maintains its production capacity and the management must never be found wanting in regard to complete transparency and accountability of its functioning. The Coy must also enhance its productivity to increasingly meet the cement requirements of J&K. Governor asked the Vice-Chairman to acquaint himself with the CAG’s Reports on the functioning of this Public Sector Unit and initiate time bound measures to rectify all aberrations.
