Blood Donation is a part of worship for the Nirankari devotees who are always enthusiastic to follow the words of Satguru Babaji. This was stated by Bn. Joginder Kaur ji, an executive member of the Mission while inaugurating the Blood Donation Camp organized by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation here to-day. Blood Donation creates organic unity in mankind and cements human bonds, she added. 304 Nirankari devotees including36 women donated blood in the camp.Sh. C. L. Gulati, Secretary Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, with his staff from Delhi  was also present, which was a source of inspiration both for the organisers and the donors. Dr. B.S.Cheema, Zonal Incharge,Chandigarh Zone welcomed the chief guest and thanked all the donors and team of Doctors of P.G.I.  He said that the Sant Nirankari Mission is the leading blood donating voluntary organization in the country today. It is the 16th camp of the Chandigarh Zone in the year. Sh. Mohinder Singh, Sanyojak Sant Nirankari Mandal Chandigarh said that the Nirankari devotees are establishing the Universal Brotherhood through blood donation. A team of 20 para-medicos headed by Dr. Suchet Sachdev from PGI conducted the camp. He appreciated the self motivation of Nirankaries for socio-spiritual activities and added that it is this kind of people who can make all the difference to the society at large. Sh. Sohan Singh Banga a local Mukhi and other distinguished parsons were also present there.
