With an aim to bring synergy into administration, Secretary Tourism and School Education, Farooq Ahmad Shah today ordered officials at clerical halls of Tourism and School Education Departments at Civil Secretariat to provide hassle-free disposal of files, failing which can invite action under rules.The Secretary surprise checked the clerical halls of both Departments and advised the officials to avoid unnecessary delays in disposal of different files related to the said departments. He instructed the officials to avoid these unnecessary delays which result in suffering of the teacher community and other employees who had to visit the secretariat from far flung areas for redressal of their problems and grievances. He has been receiving complaints of frequent delays in file work particularly in Education Department.Later, Shah issued on spot orders to maintain the movement registers for employees in the clerical hall so that they should utilize maximum time for official activities. He also instructed the secretariat officials to dispose all the files within shortest time period and any further delays can invite action under rules. Later the Secretary also surprise checked the tourism clerical hall and issued the same instructions for the employees of tourism also working in the secretariat.
