Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today appointed two Directors on the Board of Directors (BoDs) of Punjab Scheduled Caste Land Dev. & Finance Corporation (PSCLDFC) and another in the Punjab Backward Classes Land Dev. & Finance Corporation (PBCLDFC) besides a Member in the Punjab State BC Commission. Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal appointed Mr. Gurvaid Singh and Ramesh Meghwal as Directors on the BoDs of Punjab Scheduled Castes Land Dev. & Finance Corporation (PSCLDFC) and Ashok Kumar in the Punjab Backward Classes Land Dev. & Finance Corporation (PBCLDFC). The Chief Minister also appointed Mr. Gokul Chand as a member of the Punjab State BC Commission.
The spokesperson further said that Mr. Badal cleared the file in this behalf late last evening and the formal orders in this regard would be issued in due course of time after the completion of requisite formalities. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also gave approval to appoint one member as the Vice Chairman in the Punjab State Women Commission from amongst six non-government members. It may be recalled that there was a provision to nominate six non-government members under the section 3(2) (b) of Punjab State Women Commission Act, 2001.
