The Education Minister, Punjab, Aruna Chaudhary has ordered an inquiry into an incident in which a phone call of District Education Officer (D.E.O.) (Secondary Education) Suresh Arora regarding private schools had gone viral on the social media in which unparliamentary language had been used.In a statement here today, the Education Minister said that it is a very serious matter and she has directed Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur to carry out a comprehensive inquiry and submit a report within 2 days. The Minister further said that the department would not tolerate such an indiscipline and misbehavior at any cost and strict action would be taken against the officer/employee found guilty.
