Celebrating the 126th birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Aam Aadmi Party volunteers organized a function at Tarak Sheel Hall. Presiding over the occasion was AAP State Vice President Paramjit Singh Kainth. Apart from the appreciation that Dr. Ambedkar deserves for championing the rights of the downtrodden, Kainth today took this occasion to discuss the energy, economic and social policies and framework that Dr. Ambedkar conceptualized.Kainth discussed some of the achievements of Baba Saheb;“A prominent Indian jurist, economist, politician and social reformer who inspired the Dalit movement and campaigned against social discrimination against Untouchables (Dalits), while also supporting the rights of women and labour. Only an Indian who top in top world 1st talented person, according to Cambridge University, England 2011.RBI was conceptualized on 1st April 1935 by the guidelines from Babasaheb Ambedkar's book ‘Problem of Rupee:its origin and its solutions’.
Indians have the right to vote without bias in gender or caste or class or literacy or religion. It was Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar who voiced as the first person in India for the 'Universal Adult Franchise' before the Southborough Commission.Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar established "Central Technical Power Board" (CTPB) for power system development, hydro power station sites, hydroelectric surveys, analyzing problem of electricity generation and thermal power station investigation. The man who started the provision for a finance commission every five year in the constitution was none other than Dr. Ambedkar.”Kainth said “We can go and on and on discussing the achievements of this great man but words won’t be enough to appreciate the life and success of Baba Saheb. Our MLA’s, MP’s and Leaders especially belonging to the Scheduled Castes community have let down our community and have been unable to aware the masses about the empowerment of the community.
Leaders have completely ignored celebrating the birth anniversary of such a visionary who made it possible for people belonging to Scheduled Castes community to fight and contest elections, should take a deep look inside and improve.”He further stressed his view that “Dr. Ambedkar is repeatedly viewed in the light regarding reservation and other related issues regarding Scheduled Castes but we seldom remember the fact that the father of Modern India, its Architect was Dr. Ambedkar. He should be appreciated and celebrated as a National Hero rather than a hero exclusively for the downtrodden.The contributions of Ambedkar should be cherished by all and proper knowledge should be imparted to the masses to enlighten them about the achievements of this great personality.”Kainth further urged the masses to “opt for better enlightened individuals to lead the community rather than opting for dummy individuals who only utilize the name of the community to fulfill their selfish desires. Bring forth individuals who have sacrificed their entire lives for their community and who have a real genuine enthusiasm to bring prosperity and empower their communities.”Other speakers who attended the function were Dr. Balbir Singh – Vice President AAP Punjab, Col. Bhalinder Singh Zone Incharge, Prof. Bhim Inder Singh, Major R.P. Singh, Raj Kumar, Gajan Singh, Inderjit Singh Sandhu and Pritam Singh among others.Dr. Balbir Singh said “Our society has achieved Political equality but Social and Economic equality is yet a dream unfulfilled. We should read and learn from the life of Dr. Ambedkar.”
