“Rahul Gandhi’s recent visit of Chandigarh would prove to be last nail in coffin of Congress in Northern states and Hindi heartland where it is all set to get life time drubbing in ensuing Parliamentary election”. This was stated by Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia while interacting with media persons after laying foundation stone and inaugurating three projects in district Kapurthala.Majithia said that wherever Rahul went during elections during last Vidhan Sabha polls, Congress nominee in that constituency lost its deposit. He said that visit of Rahul to Punjab always swells the seat kitty of NDA.Describing Rahul as a confused split personality with no vision or political thought, Mr. Majithia said that one day he reiterates resolve against corruption and second day he approves Lok Sabha tickets to scam tainted leaders Chavan of of Adarsh scam, Kalmadi of CWG scam etc. He pointed out that Gandhi family has a long history of biased approach towards Punjab since independence. He said that keeping in view the huge response of public throughout the country to Sh. Narendra Modi’s Prime Ministerial candidature and NDA constituents, Congress would struggle to cross half century mark . He said that UPA government’s last two terms coupled with bad economic policies resulted in unprecedented inflation, a never ending list of mega Scams and total neglect of a common man’s interest further taking country to the brink of disaster. He said that after 10 years lackluster governance of Congress led UPA government, the electorates of the country were raring to go to inflict most humiliating defeat to anti people congress party to bring a stable and decisive regime.
Majithia said that the mammoth gathering and unparalleled enthusiasm of Punjabis to Fateh Rally of Narendra Modi was a witness of the fact that the reverse counting of Congress had already begun and people of the country were itching their hands to make inefficient and corrupt regime of Congress led UPA a history. He said that SAD-BJP leadership have full confidence on its development agenda and quite sure that the intelligent electorates of state would make a significant contribution in installation of Narendra Modi led NDA government in the country by ensuring the alliance land sliding victory on all 13 Lok Sabha seats of the state. He said that Punjab would usher in a new era of rapid development with full support from NDA regime. He said that Youth Akali Dal cadre under the leadership of SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal would leave no stone unturned to ensure the major victory of party.
Earlier addressing impressive gatherings at Talwandi Chaudhrian and Begowal, Mr. Majithia said that Punjab with creation of world class infrastructure, unique governance reforms, power surplus and best air and road connectivity has emerged as most preferred destination for investment and grand success of Progressive Punjab Investors’ summit and Agriculture Summit was a witness to state government’s concerted efforts.Majithia informed that the around 15 lac more families were being brought in the ambit of Atta –Dal scheme almost doubling the number of beneficiaries from present 15 lac to 30 lac.
