Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today organized its 10th Cultural extravaganza “Roshaan” at Tagore Theatre, Sector 18, Chandigarh. Sh. Rana K.P. Singh, Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the function. Students of B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BA, B.Com, GNM, ANM, Law, M.Edu, Polytechnic Diploma etc participated in various colorful cultural items and mesmerized the whole crowd with their performances representing the states including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jammu Kashmir, North East etc.The function commenced with the Lamp Lighting ceremony by Sh. Rana K.P. Singh along with Aryans Group patrons Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria and Mrs. Rajni Kataria followed by a welcome dance exhibiting the culture of Punjab. Students of Aryans Group presented a colorful Cultural Programme which included Bhangra, Giddha, Naati, Kashmiri Dance , Dogri, Western dance, Bhojpuri, Dark Monster, Jhumar, Punjabi dance, Fusion, Act, Folk dance, solo song, solo dance etc.Dr. Anshu Kataria speaking on the occasion said that Aryans Group has students from all over the India who are studying in various courses. The students presented their respective cultures through their dances in the function. He added that besides studies, extra co-curricular activities are equally important. They help in the overall development of the students.

On the occasion many renowned Punjabi singers including Monty-Waris, Virasat Sandhu, Salina Shelly, Noddy Khan-Youngest Rapper, Bollywood Comedian-Amritpal Singh Chotu etc enthralled the audience with their live performances. The young new artists were also honoured by the Group for their contribution in the Punjabi Music Industry.Students then transported the audience to the fascinating States including Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, North East etc. Another items including solo song by Ananta; Break Dance by Banraj; Let’s Dance by Mujtaba & Group; Funny Dance by Shivam & Group; Hassian Khedian by Abhishek & Group;Sufi Rock by Adnan & Group etc enthralled the audience.Showing the cultures of different states, Naati performed by Bhavna & Group and group while Shubham and group presented Dogri Dance, Sukhdev & Group performed Bhangra which made the audience to tap on their feets. Haryanvi dance by Avinash & Group; Sohna Punjab Dance by Sunil & Group; Mime by Mohd. Salman & Group etc mesmerized the audience in its own ways.Also present on the occasion were Dr. (Mrs.) Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group; Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group; Sh. Paramjit Sidhu, AIG, Punjab Police; Sh. Kamaljeet Singh Chawla, Public Coordination Cell, Punjab; Sh. Rajpal Singh, General Secretary, PPCC, Congress Committee; Sh. Sushant Kaushik etc.
