Reminding West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of the BJP's nationwide influence, its General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Friday warned her how long would his party remain silent if "fake cases" were lodged against its leaders in the state."Didi (Mamata Banerjee), please do not forget that you are in just one state, while the BJP is all over the country. We also run the central government," Vijayvargiya said, alluding to the latest case lodged against West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party President Dilip Ghosh for walking with arms at a Ram Navami rally."If you lodge such cases against our leaders, how long will we stay silent," he said.Terming Banerjee's role in the issue as "disgraceful", Vijayvargiya accused her Trinamool Congress government of intentionally slapping 'false cases' against the state BJP leaders.

"Since the TMC leaders were arrested by the CBI for their alleged involvement in the chit fund scam, the role of the respected chief Minister has been extremely disgraceful," he alleged."The BJP leaders are being dragged into false cases in some way or the other. If a TMC leader rallied with swords while celebrating Ram Navami, would there be investigation against him too?" he asked.Vijayvargiya said the rule of law is same for everyone and there should be no discrimination on the basis of political colour or vote bank."If rule of law is followed in the state, then everyone should be trated equally. If the BJP leaders are treated in a specific way and others are treated in a different way, that is not correct," he stated.
