Blaming PDP for failing people of Kashmir on all counts for the sake of power, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President and INC NC Candidate G.A. Mir has cautioned people of the opportunist and politics of exploitation by PDP to secure votes in the upcoming by Elections. He urged the people not to get exploited and misled on false promises and tall claims on the part of PDP.G.A. Mir during his visit to various places in Dooru Constituency today cautioned people of politics of exploitation in order to secure votes by PDP, but at the same time, he expressed confidence that this time people will not come under false promises and tall claims made, from time to time by this party (PDP).Sensing defeat in the upcoming By Elections, G.A. Mir said PDP is making serious efforts to restrict people’s movement on polling days, even people are being harassed at various places in order to enforce shutdown, saying that PDP is in habit of doing shutdown politics for gaining political mileage, but people will defeat the designs of ruling dispensation and will ensure defeat of PDP in the upcoming By Elections, he said.
Mentioning that people are scared of ruling dispensation, G.A. Mir said the entire south Kashmir is going to vote against PDP for adopting dual standards and exploiting people on sensitive issues like revocation of AFSPA, withdrawal of troops, release of Prisoners etc, as a result PDP is desperate enough about the outcome of poll results. He reminded the people of PDP’s poll promise about their safety, security and during the unrest people have realized what type of safety PDP has ensured to them. He said PDP is full responsible for uncertainty.He told the people that they are aware what PDP has done after taken reins of power, people were awarded with pellets, bullets, teargas shells, even the uncounted PSA’s were slapped on those, who were no way involved in pelting of stones or disturbing peace. He said the Chief Minister even closed down the offices of newspapers for reporting truth on Kashmir Situation during unrest. He said PDP as responsible for facilitating entry of communal and fascist forces in J&K, especially in valley.
He expressed confidence that people will never trust this party again, which has surrendered it’s so called ideology to BJP RSS to make an entry into Power Corridors, even it compromised on urges and aspirations of the people by facilitating communal and fascist forces in the State.He told the gatherings that how many people were blinded, maimed and injured for no fault of theirs, even those children who were sitting in their homes, were blinded, the behavior of Chief Minister about these unfortunate incidents saying that the injured had not gone to buy milk or toffees was so astonishing and shocking, what else will you expect from her? Mir told the gatherings.He said earlier the PDP secured votes by shouldering coffins, but this time, the same party is hell bent upon to terrorize people, at various places, in order to ensure that they may not come out on 9th & 12th and vote against its Candidates in South Kashmir and Central Kashmir, but at the same time, he felt confident that people will ensure the victory of INC NC Candidate (G.A. Mir and Dr. Farooq Abdullah) with a thumping majority, he added.Stating that PDP is losing both Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming by elections, G.A. Mir said that people want to get rid of this unholy alliance, which is fully responsible for the damages caused to both life and property in the valley.He appealed people to vote for him (Mir) and ensure his victory and the victory of INC NC Candidate amounts to strengthening unify and secular forces in the State.
