Vigilance Nabs Patwari Red Handed Accepting Bribe Of 4000

Vigilance Bureau today nabbed a Patwari red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 4000.Disclosing this official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Patwari Sujan Singh posted at revenue area Sarai Amanat Khan, District Tarn Taran was nabbed on the complaint of Mr. Gurlal Singh S/o Sukhdev Singh District Tarn Taran. In his complaint with Vigilance Bureau Gurlal Singh has narrated that he has purchased 6 acre of land in the year 2004 and he got the mutation registered in his name. He said that an error was committed by the Patwari while preparing the Jamabandi of this land. He alleged that now the Patwari was demanding bribe of Rs. 10,000 for rectifying the error in Jamabandi record and the deal was struck at Rs. 4000.On the tip off provided by the complainant a trap was laid and the Patwari Sujan Singh was nabbed red handed while accepting the bribe of Rs. 4000 from the complainant.
