Minister for Food, Civil supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Choudhary Zulfkar Ali today distributed prizes among the winners of Khelo India games organized by J&K Sports Council during its concluding day at Sports Stadium Udhampur.DC Udhampur Niraj Kumar and Vice Chairman of District Sports Council Udhampur Rahil Gupta were also present on the occasion.Vice Chairman Sports Council Udhampur, Rahil Gupta in his welcome address briefed the Minister about the achievements of Sports Council Udhampur and informed the Minister that more than 5000 participants from all blocks of Udhampur participated in the sports event.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister appreciated DC Udhampur Niraj Kumar and Vice Chairman Udhampur Sports Council Rahil Gupta for putting in efforts for encouraging and promoting sports activities in the district.The Minister further asked the youngsters to participate in large numbers in various games and sports activities.Director FCS&CA G.S Chib, Chief sports officer and other sports council officers were also present on the occasion.
