With an aim to review the performance of banks under Annual credit Plan 2016-17, the meeting of District Level Review Committee cum District Consultative Committee (DLRC/DCC) was held under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Niraj Kumar, here today.AGM, RBI, Jammu, R B Gupta, AGM NABARD, Manohar Lal, Cluster Head J&K Bank, Satish Kumar, LDM, Sanjeev Mahajan, ACR, Subash Dogra, Assistant Commissioner Development, Om Parkash, General Manager, DIC Angrez Singh, Chief Planning Officer Ashok Khajuria besides officers of various departments also attended the meeting.During the meeting, detailed deliberations were held on various issues like financial inclusion plan (FIP), performance of different banks under various government sponsored schemes, bank wise position of deposits and advances in Udhampur district and position of Kissan Credit Cards (KCCs) and SHGs issued by various banks. Stressing on the need for generating awareness about different schemes of the government, the District Development Commissioner exhorted upon the bankers and sectoral officers to hold joint awareness camps in different parts of the district so that people can avail benefits of various schemes.The DDC exhorted upon the officers of Banks and Line Departments to fix targets according to the need and potential of the area so that optimum results on ground could be achieved within a particular time frame. The DDC also stressed upon the officers of Agriculture Department to reconcile the data of KCC holders in the district and also emphasized upon the bankers to create maximum awareness among the account holders regarding the seeding of their Aadhaar.Later, the DDC also launched Potential Link Plan 2017-18 which was prepared by AGM NABARD Udhampur.
