Underscoring the need for frequent field visits Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli today said that providing all the requisite facilities and solving people's problem at their doorsteps is among the top priorities of the government. The Minister stated this while addressing a mammoth gathering at a public grievances redressal camp at Upper Kalakote.Huge gathering of local inhabitants briefed the Minister on various problem being faced by them like shortage of water supply, power supply , strengthening of the interior link roads , old age and widow pensions, special recruitment camps for unemployed youths .While responding to the demands of the locals, the Minister said that all issues and projected demands shall be resolved in due course of time after taking up the same with concerned officers. He urged the officials and officers of various departments present in the meeting to give their best in solving the public grievances and timely completion of sanctioned developmental projects.
He assured that the developmental scenario of the area will be improved shortly as government has started many developmental projects.The Minister while addressing the gathering asked the people to come forward and avail the maximum benefits of the various welfare schemes and programmes being undertaken by the government. "The schemes being undertaken have tremendous potential of changing the socio economic profile of the people”, he added. Terming inclusive growth and development of state as the priority of the government the Minister said that developing each and every corner of the state is the aim of government. “The government is committed to create such an environment where every citizen gets his due right”, he added.Sub Divisional Magistrate Kalakote, Khalid Wafa, officers and officials of Sheep Husbandry, Animal husbandry Fisheries,PDD, PHE besides other sectoral officers were accompanying the Minister.
