Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today said that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has no regret and sympathy towards the victims of Congress sponsored 84 Sikh genocide even after confession of direct involment of Congress leaders in Delhi massacre against Sikhs and he lacks dare to take any action against his party leaders.Today after addressing a rally in Amritsar South assembly segment along with the BJP Presdent Mr. Kamal Sharma, Revenue and Public Relations Minister l Punjab, Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia and Local Bodies Minister Mr. Anil Joshi, Deputy Chief Minister said that Rahul was deeply worried over the decision of Supreme court to commute death sentence into life imprisonment of killers of his father, but he has no regret and sorrow in his heart for the 5000 Sikhs killed by the congress perpetrators in a planned strategy. He said that the intentions of Mr. Gandhi about Sikhs was reflected in a way the killers of Sikhs were being sheltered by congress vice president.Talking about the poll agenda of SAD-BJP , Mr. Badal said that Akali Dal and BJP has single point agenda which is Development as people want development, not any kind of false promises as always made by the congress. Replying to a query about the role of AAP in Punjab, the Deputy Chief Minister said that in democracy everybody was welcomed to fight elections but the newly born party have no impact in Punjab.Mr. Badal has also said that as per the tradition Akali Dal has announced their candidates much prior to other and the remaining candidates would be announced very shortly.Earlier addressing a mammoth gathering after laying the foundation stone of development works of Rs. 285 crore, Mr. Badal informed the people that the BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System) has been sanctioned for Amritsar which would be initiated in a week as tender had already been invited for the project. It may be mentioned here that BRTS would be implemented on the pattern of Istanbul (Turkey) in Amritsar with the cost of Rs. 500 crore.
Talking about the Development of Amritsar, Mr. Badal said that “I am personally monitoring the development projects of the holly city on monthly basis as it was my mission and vision.”He said that the development projects of Rs. 2500 crore in the pipeline which would ensure the facelift of city in next 2 years.On the demand of CPS Mr. Inderbir Singh Bolaria to include the “Swarankar Community” in OBC category, Mr. Badal said that it was under the jurisdiction of Union Government and after the formation of NDA Government in centre it would be the done in one month.Calling upon the people to come forward for the formation of NDA government under the leadership of Mr. Modi, The Deputy Chief Minster said that “the coming Lok Sabha polls will not to be fought to gain the power but to save the country from the most corrupt ,inefficient ,directionless and leaderless UPA government”.Promising hassle free service delivery and paperless administration to the common man in next 6 months, the Deputy Chief Minister said that all 147 services related to the common man would be provided online as all villages would be connected to 4G service with Rs. 4000 crore. He said that the process in this regard has been started from Mansa District which is going to become the first Online District of the country.
On the demand for an under By pass at Gurdwara Baba Deep Singh Shaheed was also announced by the Deputy Chief Minister during the rally.
Addressing the rally the Revenue Minister and Youth Akali Dal President, Mr. Bikraam Singh Majithia said that “workers of SAD-BJP would ensure the thumping victory of any candidate announced by the BJP for Amritsar Parliamentary Constituency”. Taking a dig at the PPCC, Mr. Majithia said that ”sensing a sure shot defeat from Amritsar Lok Sabha segment, Local leaders of congress were not even ready to get ticket from congress high Command and PPCC are looking for a outside candidate”. He said that there was a time when congress surpassed 400 marks in Lok Sabha but now in forthcoming elections the tally of congress would come under 100 first time in history.Earlier Local Bodies Minister, Mr. Anil Joshi was also addressed the rally.
