Governor Smt. Urmila Singh today visited the Himachal pavilion in the ongoing India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2012 being held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. She visited the various exhibitions and stalls set up by various Government departments and business organizations to show case their products.She appreciated the initiatives of various organizations in showcasing their products through exhibitions and asked them to make extra efforts to create market for their products at the National level. She said that there was a need for creating strong demand of Himachali products at National level and the quality products from the state needs to be marketed under Himachali brands so as to promote State’s products under distinct branding.Smt. Urmila Singh took keen interest in the exhibitions and asked the organizations to actively participate in all National level fairs of the country and take vigorous steps for marketing their products. She also stressed for maintaining high quality and standards.Earlier, senior officers welcomed the Governor to the Pavilion.
