LCET Prof. Prateek Kalia selected by the Governing Body of the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), to join Study Mission to a Non-member Country on Development of Knowledge-based Business at London, United Kingdom.Total 19 members are selected from twenty member countries of APO and Prof. Kalia is the only candidate from India to represent India after getting nominated for this prestigious project.The objective of this project is to study the business models and emerging trends in knowledge-based business, to assess the programs and roles of accelerators, incubation and innovation centers in the development of knowledge-based start-up businesses and to identify appropriate measures for APO member countries to benefit from them. This study mission will consist of a seminar at Cambridge University with resource persons' presentations,visits to innovation/incubation and accelerator centres, science parks and R&D centers, and knowledge-based companies in Cambridge, London and Sussex; and attendance at the two-day Industry 4.0 Summit and Exhibition in Manchester.
