203105 pay obeisance at Shiv Khori Shrine during Mahashivratri Mela

As many as   203105 pilgrims paid obeisance at the Shiv Khori Shrine during the three day Mahashivratri festival while about 14 lakh pilgrims visited the holy shrine the last year.This was informed by Executive Officer Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board (SSKSB), Om Parkash today. He said that this year from January 1st to February 25,  306660  pilgrims visited the shrine and a 50 percent increase in the pilgrimage  is  expected in the current year.He further apprised that the Board and district administration had made elaborate arrangements for the Mela and all efforts are afoot to improve facilities for the pilgrims. Also live telecast of Aarti from inside the cave has been a major step which has attracted pilgrims in large number.
