The runaway success of Vijay Deverakonda starrer Telugu indie comedy "Pellichoopulu" has helped the actor's upcoming release "Arjun Reddy" gain a lot of attention, its director Sandeep Vanga said.Talking about the positive impact of "Pellichoopulu" on his film, Sandeep told IANS: "The success of 'Pellichoopulu' has raised the stakes of our film and has made it big, in terms of anticipation. With the release of the film's teaser, the buzz has only multiplied."The teaser of "Arjun Reddy", which was released earlier this week, has been received very well.The film features Vijay as a medical surgeon and it also stars Shalini, Jia Sharma, Sanjay Swaroop and Gopinath Bhat."It's an emotional love story set against the backdrop of a medical college," Sandeep said.Calling it a contemporary and urban love story, Sandeep says the film will stand out for its very realistic treatment.The film is titled after the lead character's name."This is a character-driven story and what more could be a convincing title than my hero's name itself. Titles are very important to create pre-release buzz and such a powerful title will get easily registered in audiences' minds," he said.
