Minister for Science and Technology Harsh Vardhan on Wednesday congratulated the ISRO for launching 104 satellites, saying it was a glimpse of the potential Indian science holds."Today, India created world record of sending maximum satellites, 104 in a single launch. Awesome feat by ISRO. Congrats to the scientists," the minister tweeted."The whole country is proud of our scientists. We've created history."The whole world now looks at India for touching lives of people with science and technology and it's philosophy of 'Vasudeva Kutumbuakam'."The Indian rocket Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) on Wednesday lifted off with a record 104 satellites, including the earth observation satellite Cartosat-2 series.The co-passenger satellites comprised 101 nano satellites, one each from Israel, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UAE and 96 from the US, as well as two nano satellites from India.Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar added: "Congratulations to ISRO scientists and team for launching a record 104 satellites in a single mission. It's a proud moment for the nation."Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also hailed ISRO.
