Dr. Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi, Vice-Chancellor, University of Kashmir, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.Besides informing the Governor about the to-date status of the teaching programmes and conduct of the deferred examinations the Vice-Chancellor discussed issues relating to the academic administration of the University, particularly the role and responsibilities of the Deans of the recent restructuring which has led to the formation of Schools in place of Departments.Governor reiterated his concern about ensuring that all decisions regarding issues relating to academic functioning must keep long term perspectives in view.
