Deputy Secretary in Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell, Inam-ul-Haq-Siddiqui, today chaired a meeting to discuss creation of various public utilities especially for women and upkeep of sanitation measures in Government hospitals.Medical Superintendents of SMHS, Bone and Joint, Lal Ded, JLNM, G B Pant, Chest Disease and other concerned attended the meeting.On the occasion, a detailed brief regarding the cleanliness measures was presented and deliberations upon the measures to upkeep the hygienic conditions in and around city hospital premises were discussed.During the meeting, the officers were directed to ensure hygienic atmosphere and proper maintenance in and around all public places with more emphasis on toilets for females and a mechanism for rigorous monitoring.Officers from Srinagar Municipal Cooperation were asked to prepare plan under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme SLUB for the construction of washrooms for females in and around city hospitals, besides additional toilets for females at places like markets, bus stands, and parks.
