Minister of State for Finance and Planning Ajay Nanda today kick started various development works for strengthening the basic infrastructure in the town.While speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that government is fully committed to improve the basic infrastructure in every part of the state. The concerned departments are working to the fullest to achieve these targets, he added.The public works launched today include works for laying and fixing of interlocked tiles at main bazar road from Hanuman temple to Dev Medical Hall which will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 43 lakh, construction of lanes and drains at ward No 3 besides others which will benefit thousands of locals and pedestrians.Later, the Minster inspected various ongoing development works in the town where he reviewed the progress on the projects. He also instructed the concerned agencies to ensure completion of these projects in time bound manner.The Minister was accompanied by several officers and local people during his visit.
