Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, today convened a meeting to review modalities for establishing a helpline by Central Reserve Police Force in the district. The meeting was informed that the helpline is aimed to reach out to people, receive their grievances and forward them to the concerned departments in the district. It was said that the helpline would be similar to already established CRPF’s Kashmir division helpline number.On the occasion, the DCC while extolling the initiative of CRPF said such a helpline number would go a long way in timely redressal of people’s grievances. He directed the officers of district administration to take immediate necessary action in case they receive any communication from the CRPF helpline number and submit the compliance report accordingly. He assured CRPF of all possible help in making this initiative a purposeful one.ADC, Commandant CRPF 14th Bn Shopian, Executive Engineers of various Engineering Departments, CEO, CMO, officers of the district administration and other concerned attended the meeting.
