Close after reconstitution of the party by Ms Mehbooba Mufti, newly appointed Vice president Sartaj Madani sought the support of party cadre to take the mission of Mufti Mohd Sayeed to logical conclusion.Addressing the party workers and senior leaders at the party office in Jammu, Madani said that under the dynamic leadership of Mehbooba Mufti the ‘Agenda of Alliance’ will get implementation to see the state of Jammu and Kashmir prospering. He said that it was the dream of Mufti Mohd Sayeed to have PDP as the most credible alternative and a viable political party eually acknowledged and accepted in the three regions and beyond.
The party workers on the occasion felicitated party General Secretaries and members nominated in the freshly constituted PAC.Party senior leaders S Rangil Singh, S Rafiq Husaain Khan, S. T S Bajwa, Daman Bhasin, Ch Hussain Ali Waffa and heads of all the wings of the party including President Mahila wing Vijaya Dogra were present in the ceremony.Those who spoke on the occasion besides the senior leaders included Party General Secreatries Nizamdin Bhat, Rafi Ahmad Mir, Ved Mahajan, Ch Qamar Din and Qazi Afzal. The senior leaders and PAC members Peerzada Mansoor Husain, Yashpal Sharma and Asgar Ali also addressed the workers and called upon them to stand united and take the party agenda to its accomplishment with a mission of public service.
The General Secretaries hailed the reconstitution of the party and expressed full faith in party leadership reiterating the resolve to stand united to facilitate party activities and public service across the state. (CNS)
