Incumbent Government a big failure: Ghulam Ahmad Mir

State Congress President Ghulam Ahmed Mir said that Congress Party is committed to equitable development of all the three regions and it will continue to remain steadfast to serve the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh equally.   He was addressing a workers meeting at Veerinag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag on Wednesday.He said Congress party is committed to fight against discrimination against people and is committed to resolve issues concerning people of the State. “The Coalition Government of PDP BJP has added woes to people after securing votes from them. The people of the State have realized that their vote has gone against them, as the promises made by both Coalition Partners have fallen flat, Mir said.Castigating PDP BJP Coalition for adopting non-serious approach about the wellbeing of the people, Mir said due to the contradiction in the approach of the PDP BJP Coalition, State is facing difficult situation, leaving people in all the three regions in isolation, there is sign of improvement on the ground, only officials Statement from the Govt are pouring in, he said.

He lashed out at Coalition for failing to address the genuine concerns of the people, besides the mis-governance and mismanagement on their Govt has added miseries to people. He said the performance of the Coalition Government on ground is zero, for the fact, there was no improvement on ground in any Sector, unemployment has risen considerably, Government Departments are not functioning in way they should, as a result, the day today needs of the people remain un-attended & unaddressed.  Even the Government was not able to ensure road connectivity  in rural area, post snowfall, there were many other issue of public interest such as Electricity which remained affected badly due to snow, which was an outcome of utter failure of the Government on all fronts.
