Lawerance Learning Lounge Sector -68 celebrated Basant Panchami by organizing Kite Flying Competition, Giddha, Bhangra, Rangoli and other cultural activities were also organized at the moment. All teams of students participated in competition with zeal & energy. The students and staff enjoyed the cultural activities.While speaking on this occasion Principal Vandana Gupta explained the importance of the Basant Panchmi to the students .He told that kite flying is related to our culture, Earlier people enjoyed this festival while flying kites and welcoming the Basant ritu(season) but nowadays trend have changed so far .Children are forgetting their culture and tradition and to make them aware about their culture and tradition such kinds of events are very important.She further added that Basant Panchami marks the end of the winter season yellow colour has its own importance in nature too i.e. mustered fields, bright sun, ripen crop.
