Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Sham Lal Choudhary today informed the Legislative Assembly that the Water Supply Scheme (WSS) Tangnar is likely to be made functional by ending February 2017.He said around 40 villages/habitations of Chadoora constituency would be benefitted after the commissioning of the scheme. "The scheme was taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 148 crore, against which an amount of Rs 135 crore stands utilized so far," he informed the house.The Minister was replying to a Question by Javaid Mustafa Mir in the house.Syed Altaf Ahmed Bukhari raised supplementary question and urged the government to also cover Amira Kadal constituency under the above scheme for which the formalities stand completed.
