A deputation of Dogra Sadar Sabha led by Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan.The deputation voiced its concerns about the potential threat to peaceful co-existence and the added stress on the resources of the region which arises from the settling of Bangladesh and Myanmar migrants in Jammu; the continuing delay in restoration of Mubarak Mandi Complex; danger of eight lakh files and other important vintage documents relating to Dogra period being housed in the Kala Kendra Complex; and the need for uniform criteria for admission to B.Ed. Course in the Kashmir and the Jammu Universities.
