Several legislators today met the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and sought her intervention in resolving many of the issues pertaining to their constituencies.The legislators who met the Chief Minister included Shamima Firdous, Pawan Gupta, Ghulam Nabi Monga, Khurshid Alam and Dr. Bashir Ahmad Veeri.Mehbooba Mufti assured them to look into the issues raised by them.A delegation of former legislators also called on the Chief Minister and put many of the difficulties before her. They sought rationalization of rents on account of official accommodation used by them, extending medical cover to them and enhancement of medical allowance. They also demanded accommodation facilities and commensurate hike in their pension alongwith the hike in salaries of sitting legislators.The Chief Minister assured them to get their issues examined on priority and take a considerate view.A deputation of traders of Jammu led by President, Jammu Chamber of Commerce   & Industry, Rakesh Gupta brought several issues of the trading community of Jammu into the notice of the Chief Minister and sought their redressal.The Chief Minister told the deputation that in this year’s budget the Government has given many incentives to business community so that economy of the State is strengthened. She promised them to have the issues raised by them looked into.A delegation of executive members of Amar Singh Club, Jammu also met the Chief Minister and sought her guidance in many of the social issues they have taken up for redressal.
